Before you can transfer the BCM project in the day-to-day operation a first "Initial test" is to be conducted. The defined test strategy (scenarios
tests, Work-around tests and alternate side tests, infrastructure tests, communication tests)determines the scale of the test. Important for the initial test is that all planning activities are carried out in context with the test:

• Test purposes are defined
• Test preparations are planned
• Test execution is planned
• Test analysis and test evaluation is planned

Please note:

• The initial test purposes should be formulated carefully to organize a success
• Count on the fact that the initial test will have management attention
• It is important - just if problems happen - to stress that exactly therefore a test is carried out
• Lessons learned - problems during a test must be analyzed , the results must be taken into consideration in the planning
